Negative from the Pumpkin vines...

Posted by Picasa
So, after I used the Big Shot to create the "vines" for the Pumpkin card (last post) I had this pretty negative strip left over. I couldn't just throw it out, so I used it for this simple card. The "thinking of you" greeting is covering a smudge of ink that appeared out of nowhere.

I'm so hooked...

...on the Stampin Up Lattice die for the BigShot...I added a simple greeting and a ribbon embellishment and viola....done!Posted by Picasa

Oval punch pumpkin...

Posted by PicasaI showed the ladies at my last class how to create a "pumpkin" using an oval punch. I also used the Big Shot for the "vines".

Posted by PicasaMore Rich Razzleberry, this time, for Dasher, ...and Glitter! Embossed him using Silver EP and added glitter to his antlers. I love, love, love the Stampin' Up embossing folder for the background...very elegant.

Serene Snowflakes...

Posted by PicasaLove this set and the non-traditional colors of the snowflakes. I used Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede...then tried Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. I added embossed snowflakes to the Razzleberry and really liked the result.

Halloween Goodies...

Posted by Picasa

Since my children don't Trick or Treat anymore...I've kinda lost the interest in creating specially packaged goodies for them. This year I saw several ideas I wanted to try. My Sweet Treat cup holds Skittles and has a neat tab to pull, so the card isn't destroyed by eager children, wanting candy. And it's refillable! I used 3 sizes of circle punches to create "candy corn"...then I realized I layered them in the wrong order....did you notice?

Cheers!...

Finally! Some time to update the blog...I have sooooo many cards that I need to photograph and post here. This one goes back several months...it's from the Sr. Center Class. We punched a "window" in the front of the card and attached the 'beer mug" to the inside of the card...this way it is visible, opened or closed. Posted by Picasa
