Ronald McDonald...

I made this card using the Ronald McDonald House set. Changing up the colors, this could be a really sweet Valentine card.

Paper Piecing...

The blue balloons on this card were stamped on a piece of blue CS, then cut out with Paper Snips. Before adhering them to the card, I used colored pencils to add a shadow to the balloons. I glued them directly over the stamped balloon, on the white panel.

DD created this one...

My daughter designed and created this card on Christmas eve...she said "I don't want to go to Rite Aid and spend $25 on cards" Smart girl! She is in college and working part time...trying to save her moola. She took this pic with the camera in her phone so it's not the best quality. She did a really nice job embossing and with the layout of the card. She made 5 different cards in 2 hours...not bad considering she is somewhat of a beginner. I enjoyed stamping right alone with her. I made 4 cards for my immediate family. I have a stack of cards I made to send this year but never was able to put the finishing touches on them....so yes, sadly, I didn't send cards again this year.

Mom's card...

My Mom made this card for her brother and his wife. She loves the style of these sketchy images. Me too! Nice job Mom!

You Rock...

I used a few "Extreme Elements" for this card. The colors are Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay. Perfect for any young man or music buff.

40 kids???...

I will be attempting something new. Teaching 4 simple projects to children in an after school care program. Coming up with things that 40 girls and boys from 3 years to 6th grade could do was the challenging part for me. I decided to have them make Valentine themed projects. They will stamp and personalize a plain brown lunch bag to hold all their creations. Make a full size Valentine card and the 2 items shown above....a bookmark and a frig magnet. I've kept the tools simple...rubber stamps, white cardstock, red cardstock, red ink pad, a few punches and red ribbon.

#6 Scrapbook page...Not!

The final project in the kit was supposed to be a scrapbook page. Instead I made this card. I have more supplies left over to create more cards...but that will be another day ;)

#5 Textured CS notes and bag...

I love Textured CS! These 3x3 Love Notes are no exception. I had a difficult time photographing the bag of Love Notes....it's too shiny.

#4...my favorite...

Love the clean, simple lines of this card..I think it's a 4x4 with a sweet matching envelope.

#3 from the kit

Card with coordinating envelope. I love the idea of stamping on the flap. Easy, peasy card!

#2 card from the kit...

This card and envelope were made from the same kit. 6 projects in all. I used the Stamp-a-majig to stamp the flowers to resemble a tree. There was also a button that was supposed to be adhered near the punched Bashful Blue flower, but I left that off.

Box of Tags...

I purchased a kit from Stampin' Up! It was for demonstrators that were unable to attend the Regional. I love these kits...everything was cut to measure! All I had to do was stamp and assemble. The first picture shows the completed project. The second one shows the opened box and contents...cute tags for gifts. I guess you could also use them on cards.

Just can't get enough of that Old Olive CS...The retired "merry" greeting is embossed using Versamark and Gold EP. It didn't photograph very well.

2 of these....

I completed (only) 4 Christmas cards this year. Two of this design, using Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry...don't they look beautiful together!
I have a stack of my " good intentions" that still need finishing touches added.

Frosty???

In an effort to make my Top Note Frosty look authentic...he really has a blank stare. Leaving the black CS eyes and mouth plain, left him looking sad. Back to the drawing board to see if I can add a little zip to his sad expression. The giant candy cane stick makes him really large, at least 12 inches tall.
